Everyone was shocked with the news of Ricky Martin becoming a father via gestational surrogacy to twin boys. Slowly details have been coming out thanks to TMZ! Apparently, the woman who gave birth to Ricky’s spawns was only in contact with Ricky via email and phone. She was employed through an agency and she has played the role of a surrogate mother one time before. Ricky supplied the 26 year old who has remained nameless was treated by Ricky to a housekeeper and weekly massages. There’s no word on how much money was involved, but we do know that Ricky was present for the birth of his twins in San Diego. As soon as there’s more news to report we will update everyone!

It was just a short time ago David Cook was crowned “American Idol”, now everyone wants to be seen with him. David Cook did not appear to be the total package, his singing was just “okay”, overall appearance in Hollywood is worth millions which he’s lacking. Decisions are not made by marketing genius since the fan-base of the show is geared towards families across America. During most seasons we notice contestants get makeovers, he’s the one contestant that had the least amount of work. Ultimately its up to the contestant if they want to take tips from stylists or not. We’re guessing Mr Cook chose not to, which all worked out in the end since he’s the winner. David Cook has been seen enjoying the elite party scene in LA with Kimberly Caldwell (former Idol contestant) and most recently The Hill’s star Audrina Patridge. Supposedly he was with Kimberly according to several sources, but who knows we could have another “John Mayer type” on our hands. In the end the mysterious and eccentric musicians always become the chick magnets.

Madonna the original queen of pop and erotica is apparently in talks with the former divorce lawyer of Paul McCartney. Apparently Mr Richie has representation also, this story sounds totally legit. No one would ever imagine Madonna to be the type to live happily ever after with anyone. We’re all left wondering what led to the failure of this marriage. The couple is so private the details are scarce. We rarely see Madonna’s relationship in the public eye anymore. After the two wed 7 years ago people lost interest. This year was somewhat exciting for Madonna, she sparked a bit of controversy for adopting David from Malawi. Madonna was also snapped holding a transparent bag with a sex toy in it as she walked with Guy Richie. Indeed we would never expect a “normal marriage” from Madonna. Recently pictures have been surfacing of Carlos de Leon (the father of Lourdes) visiting with his 11 year old. We’re all wondering what role Carlos will play in this nasty divorce battle.

Every since Britney Spears appeared on “How I Met Your Mother”, she has felt a renewed sense of confidence. Last time Britney appeared on the show, they received the highest ratings ever. Although Neil Patrick Harris wasn’t happy about the pop wreck making the appearance, there is talk that she maybe making more appearances. I guess if your music career is in the dump, become an actress. Well, let’s not count out Miss Britney yet, her good friend Bai Ling has told paparazzi that her boyfriend Damon Elliot (Producer) has been in the studio with Britney. Should we anticipate the release of another album or was Bai Ling just looking for attention?

Rumor has it the happy couple wed over the weekend. Although “most” of the signs were there, no one has seen a ring on Beyonce’s finger or Jay-Z’s. TMZ showed a video clip of Jay-Z being congratulated, and he acknowledged it and he neglected to deny or confirm the news. We all want to know what really took place. Everything has been very tight lipped among their sources. Its my theory they were married in a very intimate ceremony among family and close friends at Jay-Z’s penthouse. Perhaps we will see some pictures in US Weekly or People Magazine in the coming weeks. Lately, there has also been talk of Beyonce showing off a baby bump, I haven’t seen anything noticeable yet- if its true it will be just a matter of time.

*Update* April 9th People Magazine has reported that Beyonce has been spotted wearing a large diamond on her left hand at Jay-Z’s concert in Atlanta. The couple is still not talking about the wedding and ignoring comments and laughing them off.

• LL Cool J - James Todd Smith - Supposedly LL Cool J stands for Ladies Loves Cool James.
• Snoop Dogg - Cordozar Calvin Broadus - I guess any stage name is better than Calvin.
• John Denver - Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. - I guess Deutschendorf means Denver in German.
• Elton John - Reginald Kenneth Dwight - His real name is the most British sounding name ever, next to Sponge Bob Squarepants.

Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez gave birth to her twins Emme and Max on February 22nd in Long Island. People Magazine debuted the new mom with her twins last Thursday. From the picture you can clearly see baby Emme resembles her mom more, and baby Max looks just like his famous father Marc Anthony.

Singer Brooke Hogan (daughter of wrestling immortal Hulk Hogan) has been chatty on her myspace blog a lot about family business. The Hogan family has been through a significant amount of turmoil over the last year- a near fatal accident, divorce, and scandal. Brooke is trying to rise above the odds and make a name for herself. Its not easy between news stories about her brother nearly killing his best friend John Graziano (who survived 2 tours of duty in Iraq). This past winter, news circulated about the Hogan’s divorce, which apparently didn’t come as a shock to anyone close to the couple. Now Brooke is continuing to cope with the divorce and the fact that her dad had an affair with her former BFF Christiane Plante. In spite of of the pain her family is putting her through she says, “Nothing is thicker than blood”.
