I recently spotted this image of Chewy Vuitton, and image of the Chewbacca character from Star Wars in a Louis Vuitton pattern. I love the juxtaposition of a fashionista wookie but I’m reminded of how Louis Vuitton doesn’t appreciate art that uses the likeness of its products. Several years ago, Louis Vuitton sued and won against artist Nadia Plesner who created a political piece about the genocide in Darfur. The artwork by Nadia Plesner had images of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears alongside with starving children in Darfur holding a bag that resembles a Louis Vuitton bag.

If you are not familiar with Reddit, I would describe it as an online social bookmarking community. It’s not entirely different that Digg or Delicious except that it is has been built around a strong community. On Reddit, the community that start any number of subreddits around a particular theme. Popular subreddits include Pics or World News. I visit Reddit on a daily basis and it has a strong number of fashion related subreddits. Kanye West is known for being a talented musician and producer, and perhaps for his eccentricities. Over the last month, Kanye West has become a total fashionisto with his trend-setting fashion; we could not pass up the opportunity to give him kudos for his look. Of course Kanye has always had his own great sense of style, but he looks more comfortable and confident than ever.
