I like to think of myself as someone that is fashion forward but I couldn't help myself when it was recently announced that archeologist had found a bra and panties that dates to the 15th century. The discovery was made in a hidden vault in the Lengberg Castle, Austria. What is interesting about this discovery is that until recently it was thought that the brassiere was a modern invention. It wasn't until 1912 that the bra was massed produced, prior to that the corse
t was widely used.

In addition to finding a bra that is similar to one that women used today, archeologist also found underwear that resemble the a bikini bottom.
US Weekly has published photographs of Kristen Stewart allegedly cheating on her long time boyfriend with her Snow White and the Huntsman director. The photographs were taken as recently as July 17, nearly two months after the release of the film which begs the question, how long has the affair going on? The director, Rupert Sanders, is married with actress and model Liberty Ross who played Kristen Stewart's mother in Snow White and the Huntsman.
Kristen Stewart, who broke out in her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight series, has been linked romantically to her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson since 2008. In addition to having dated Robert Pattinson and cheating with Rupert Sanders, she also has dated
other cast mates in the past. This begs another question, what other co-stars has she dated?
Kristen Stewart, who has been very quite about her relationship with Robert Pattinson, has issued a public statement regarding the cheating allegations.
I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry.
Rupert Sanders has also released a statement.
I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.
The news about the alleged disappearance and possible drugging of Katherine Jackson is playing out in gossip and tabloid blogs as well as in social media sites. It seems like there are as many versions of the story behind the disappearance of Katherine Jackson as there people that would benefit from it. What is clear is that Katherine Jackson's grandchildren, a slew of doctors, different sheriff departments, and a bunch of Hollywood lawyers are all involved in the case.
It was just a year ago when another senior citizen and Hollywood personality was involved in a p
ossible elderly abuse situation. In 2011, Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney spoke to before the Senate Special Committee on Aging on elderly abuse after having made news by alleging that he was abused by a family member.
All cases of elderly abuse are sad, but unfortunately to some senior citizens in Hollywood they are often worth more dead than alive. As a key person behind the Michael Jackson estate, Katherine Jackson is in the middle of a ugly Jackson family war for control the estate that is speculated to be worth hundreds of millions.
For years I've been suspicious of the motives of television wanna-be celebrity Dr. Drew Pinsky. Dr. Drew is the personality behind such shows as 16 and Pregnant, Teen Moon, Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and other such shows. I personally find it horrible that Dr. Drew and the producers of 16 and Pregnant profit on exploiting teens in distress. Clearly, 16 and Pregnant producers casts select teens with the most issues and possibly pre-existing psychological issues and them exploit them for fun and profit. Several of the cast members from 16 and Pregnant have gone on to have multiple run ins with the law.
In addition to his work with faux reality television shows, Dr. Drew gets additional minutes to his 15 minutes of fame when a celebrity dies. When Whitney Houston died, Dr. Drew was on television news channels commentating on her death and speculating on the cause and even her life style.
If his involvement and results with 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom, and Celebrity Rehab were not enough, there are now allegations that Dr. Drew accept money totaling $275,000 to promote an antidepressant. Dr. Drew described his work with GlaxoSmithKline, which recently agreed to page $3 billion over health care fraud, as follows…
In the late 90s I was hired to participate in a 2-year initiative discussing intimacy and depression which was funded by an educational grant by Glaxo Wellcome. Services for the non-branded campaign included town hall meetings, writings and multimedia activities in conjunction with the patient advocacy group the National Depresive and Manic Depressive Association (NDMDA). My comments were consistent with my clinical experience.
It has been well described how pharmaceutical companies pay off doctors, educators, faculty, and others in the medical profession by proving grants, paid conferences, and even pre-writing research papers and scientific research results. To learn more on how the pharmaceutical industry operates, take a look at the lecture by David Healy, Professor of Psychiatry at Cardiff University in Wales on the Big Ideas podcast from TVO.
