The best of two worlds has been brought together courtesy of Kendra Mate (from NYC hotspot Tenjune) and Elayne Werns-Duke (from Ciroc Vodka). These two came up with clever cocktail recipes inspired by former American Idols. Enjoy!

• Country Lemonade Highball
  Inspired by Kelly Clarkson

  1 1/2 oz vodka
  2 oz lemonade
  1/2 oz. simple syrup
  6 mint leaves
  soda water

  Directions:
  Muddle mint with syrup.
  Add vodka, lemonade, and ice,
  shake and strain over ice into Collins glass.
  Top with soda water.

• Velvet Teddybear Cocktail
  Inspired by Ruben Studdard

  1 1/4 oz. vodka
  2 oz. white grape juise
  1/4 oz. Jagermeister
  3/4 honey syrup

  Directions:
  Serve over ice in the fattest rocks
  glass available. Garnish with fresh-made
  love.

• Sugar & Spice Martini
  Inspired by Clay Aiken

  1 boubon
  1/2 oz. pumpkin liqueur
  3/4 oz. ginger syrup
  1 oz. fresh orange juice

  Directions:
  Serve chilled in a martini
  glass. Rim with cinnamon
  sugar.
