We’re a world obsessed with the world of reality television. MTV has paid A-listers to put their lives and marriages on the line by creating reality shows for celebs based on relationships and marriages. Sadly, many of the couples featured on the MTV shows have called it quits, here’s a quick recap.. Hopefully celebs learn to STAY AWAY FROM MTV!

• Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey – Newlyweds
  The show focused on Nick & Jessica’s new marriage, the couple was married in 2003. Sadly the couple split up in 2005 and finalized their divorce in 2006
• Brandy Norwood & Robert Smith- Special Delivery
  Special delivery focused on Brandy’s pregnancy, during the run of the show Brandy portrayed that she was married. When the story broke the couple split Robert Smith admitted they were never married Brandy wanted them to portray they were married so save her reputation.
• Travis Barker & Shanna Moakler – Meet the Barkers
  This show was about the adventurous married life of Shanna, Travis, and their children. After the show, the couple split up then reconciled. Apparently, their divorce was finalized became final in January 2008.
• Carmen Electra & Dave Navarro – Till Death Due Us Part
  This show focused on the everyday lives of Carmen and Dave. The couple was focused on planning a non-traditional wedding. The couple married in November of 2003 and divorced on February 2007.
• Ashely Parker Angel & Tiffany Lynn – There & Back
  There and Back was a touching reality show that focused on the former O-Town star Ashely Parker Angel trying to get back on his feet after the lights dimmed for O-Town. On top of Ashley trying to get his career back on the ground, his girlfriend model Tiffany Lynn was pregnant and they were living with her mother. It all appeared to be a happy ending, they had a little boy Lyric and Ashley got signed to a record label and the couple bought a home. It was just reported in US Weekly the couple recently split.

• “The Bachelor Matt Grant” and Shayne Llamas have broken up for good!
  Apparently the couple experienced problems for awhile, Matt moved out and they were still engaged now they have decided its not working out.

• New Mommy Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 39th birthday at a Broadway show
• Martie Maguire from The Dixie Chicks gave birth to a baby girl.
• Adulterer Balthazar Getty is leaving his wife for mistress Sienna Miller.
• Randy Pausch “Last Lecture” professor passed away today in his Virginia
  home. He will be best known for his speech “Really Achieving Your Childhood
  Dreams”
• Briget Nielsen recently received a face lift, breast lift, tummy tuck, eye lift, liposuction, and new teeth.
• Jasmine Guy (Whitley from Cosby Show Spin Off “Different World”) has filed
  for divorce.
• Nick Hogan turns 18 on Sunday, he’s in the process of being transferred to the adult section of the jail!

Apparently, Britney Spears is working on a new album.. Hasn’t she learned from her last “Blackout” the world believes she’s talentless? The whole Britney trend has come and gone, we actually want to hear singers with real voices! Britney is hoping that she can use all of the chaos she’s created in her life to help her rise to the top of the charts. Britney thought by appearing at an event support autism, it would clean up her image. Well, certainly we are not buying into the hype. How much money did she donate to the cause? What is she doing to help the cause? This was Britney looking for free press to promote herself being a good Samaritan which she is far from! No one will knowingly support someone like Britney who has endangered her own children. Its really sad that she has put those children through so much. She is a walking disaster, she has obviously set a poor example for her own sister and every little girl around the world who wanted to be just like Britney. We all know it was the right decision for Britney to give up her children, it should have happened awhile ago. Now she is free to party as much as she wants without having to worry because her children are now with a responsible parent. We all have a love-hate relationship with K-Fed for appearing as the dancer, wannabe rapper, moocher but he has a brain and appears to be mentally stable. K-Fed has been a great parent because he’s brought consistency to the life of his children. We should all go out an buy K-Fed’s album so he can use the money to support the children.

Estelle Getty (best known for her role as Sophia Patrillo on The Golden Girls) has passed away at the tender age of 84 at her Hollywood home. Although Estelle had many other roles, she will always be remembered for Sophia’s motherly charm and sarcastic humor. Estelle had been suffering from ailment of Lewy Body Dementia. Her death was apparently of “natural causes”. There were reports this year that surfaced that Estelle didn’t recognize her former co-stars who were like family to her.

• Britney Spears has ended her custody battle with Kevin Federline, she has given him sole custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James.
• Salma Hayek and her billionaire fiance Francois-Henri Pinault have called off their engagement.
• Angelina Jolie took her twins home from a hospital in Nice, France.
• Linsday Lohan has been seen with suspected girlfriend Samantha.
• Jonas Brother, Joe Jonas just graduated from high school. Throughout the tour he’s been taking correspondence courses. Joe and his brothers will be performing at the VMAs.
• Ed McMahon has filed lawsuits against Cedar Sianai Hospital and a billionaire homeowner for injuries sustained at an event and misdiagnosing his injury (a broken neck).

• Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcome their twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon on Saturday .. finally! Apparently, Brad cut the umbilical cords!
• Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright were arrested in connection with a fight that occurred in Shreveport, Louisiana.
• Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas married Jaymie Dizon on Saturday.
• Jessica Simpson‘s country album will be released on September 9th.
• Jessica Simpson vacationed in Lake Tahoe over the weekend.
• Whoopi Goldberg will be in the Broadway show Xanadu from July 29th through September 7th.
• Rumors are swirling that Jennifer Garner and Ben Afflek maybe expecting another child.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcomed a baby girl- Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban. Apparently Sunday was named after Sunday Reed who was a strong symbol for the arts. The couple chose to give Sunday the middle name of Keith Urban’s grandmother. We are all waiting for the pictures to surface of the Urban-Kidman spawn.

Issac Hanson and his wife welcomed their second child on July 1st, James Monroe Hanson. The couple prefers for their children to be called by their middle names. Their first child Clark Everett Hanson is 1 years old. Ike as he’s fondly known by his fans will not be at home for long, he’s hitting the road with his younger brothers in support of the latest Hanson album.

Matthew Mcconaughey his girlfriend Camilla welcome their new baby boy on July 8th. The name has not been released yet, any guesses as to what the next Hollywood baby will be named? The couple has yet to talk of an engagement or marriage.
