There are a few sites on the web where waiters talk about their experiences with celebrities at their restaurants, specifically they focus on how they tip. Celebrities are not poor people, so we expect them to at least be fair and give 10-15%, everyone would be shocked to know some tip worse than the average person! Here are some highlights posted from a great site called Bad Tipper.

I used to live and wait tables in Kingston, Ontario, a small city (120,000 people around 100 miles north of Syracuse NY) Dan Aykroyd has a place just north of here and spends alot of time in town between gigs. I’ve served him at least a half dozen times, and he is always very gracious, friendly, and always tipped $100 or 50% of the bill, whichever was more. Awesome guy!

I worked at Planet Hollywood in Beverly Hills, we had a private screening room where celebrities could eat and watch movies in private. Before anyone knew Puffy and J. Lo. were going out, I waited on them and about 15 of his posse. Of course celebs eat free at Planet, but Puffy only left me forty dollars for waiting on his entire entourage and his bitch.

What a huge guy! Since I am a girl I can call him a “sweetheart” - big tipper and very nice. I wish all celebrities were like him. I worked at a restaurant in Clearwater and he would always play volley ball in front of my restaurant. He does eat a lot so tell the kitchen to get ready!

Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez gave birth to her twins Emme and Max on February 22nd in Long Island. People Magazine debuted the new mom with her twins last Thursday. From the picture you can clearly see baby Emme resembles her mom more, and baby Max looks just like his famous father Marc Anthony.

Singer Brooke Hogan (daughter of wrestling immortal Hulk Hogan) has been chatty on her myspace blog a lot about family business. The Hogan family has been through a significant amount of turmoil over the last year- a near fatal accident, divorce, and scandal. Brooke is trying to rise above the odds and make a name for herself. Its not easy between news stories about her brother nearly killing his best friend John Graziano (who survived 2 tours of duty in Iraq). This past winter, news circulated about the Hogan’s divorce, which apparently didn’t come as a shock to anyone close to the couple. Now Brooke is continuing to cope with the divorce and the fact that her dad had an affair with her former BFF Christiane Plante. In spite of of the pain her family is putting her through she says, “Nothing is thicker than blood”.

I always loved to look at designer’s sketches and design notes. If you are like me then you will like Le Parapluie. From what I can find, Le Paraluie is maintained by Anne Sanger, a trained fashion designer and she design sketches are just wonderfully illustrated. Here are two designs I particularly like.

Valerie Bertinelli, the girl next door on One Day at a Time, has written Losing it: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time. In Losing It, Valerie, remisies about role on the hit TV show One Day at a Time, her life and marriege with Eddie Van Halen, and her public struggle with her weight. Valerie is the current spokesperson of Jenny Craig, and while in Jenny Craig has lost a total of 40 lbs as of January 2008.

Some people measure depression by the medication they take or the number of times per week they see a therapist. For me, it was different. I measured my depression with baked jalapeño-and-cheddar-cheese poppers, the brand that advertises itself with the slogan “Bring home the fun.”

I’d love to meet the person who came up with that line and ask him a question. Is it really fun to see yourself blow up three dress sizes?

I suppose they wouldn’t sell as many if their slogan was “Pack on the pounds.” On the other hand, they may do OK with a promotion that said “Forget your ex-husband” or “Eat these instead of having sex — since nobody wants to see your fat bare ass.”

Singer Avril Lavigne has more on her mind than touring, married life, and baby on the way; she wants to be fashion mogul. She’s following in the footsteps of many celebs such as Mary Kate & Ashley, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, P Diddy, and the list goes on! As a teen, this singer was once admired for being the rebel is starting to fit in more with the mainstream. Apparently Avril is designing a juniors line of clothing that will be sold exclusively at Kohl’s department stores. The singer has reported to Newsweek that she not only will take the role as the designer but she will approve clothing items by trying them on.

41-year-old Oscar winning actress Halle Berry and fiance model Gabriel Aubry welcomed a baby on March 16th. Apparently, the baby left the the hospital without a name. Both Halle and Gabriel, said they wanted to meet their daughter before giving her a name. They just named her Nahla Ariela Aubry. Apparently, Nahla means honeybee in Arabic..
