October 30th maybe the date in history that Ms. Britney Spears may want to blackout in her calender. Today marked the return of Britney Spears since giving birth to her two children Sean Preston and Jayden James. According to “true Britney supporters”, the “Blackout” album was a huge disappointment. Apparently Judge Scott Gordan is disappointed in Britney’s parenting skills because he has denied Britney Spears request for 50-50 custody.Kevin Federline will retain physical custody, it could be as late has April until he can find out if he will have legal custody. The parenting coach described Britney as a parent who is completely inattentive to the needs of her children. For example, she does not interact with them. She is completely absorbed in her “own world.” The children have no set schedule or routine. The former “Pop Princess” will receive 3 visits per week (two visits noon to 7:00 p.m. and one overnight visit.) The visitations must be monitored by someone appointed by the court. In order to receive visitation Britney must submit to random drug tests two times a week, and child-proof her two homes by November 2nd.

October 30th will mark the return of the most successful boy band in history to the US market. The multi-platinum group The Backstreet Boys are releasing their sixth US album entitled “Unbreakable.” The album is highly anticipated after the departure of the eldest member Kevin Richardson, who left the group last year in favor of other projects and making a family with wife Kristin Richardson. The group is already receiving fabulous reviews from fans who have gotten their hands on the album in Japan last week. In the US the first single is currently performing well on music countdown shows such as VH1 Top 25, and it is fairing well on the billboard charts. According to fans, it is rumored the next single off the “Unbreakable” album will be “Helpless When She Smiles.” Nick Carter, A.J. McLean, Brian Littrell, and Howie Dorough anticipate a strong comeback. The marketing for the new album has been strong with great commercials for cd from Target, and numerous talk show appearances have been booked. The group performed on the Today Show October 30th, later in the day they will do a CD signing at Virgin Megastore in New York City. Later in the week their plans include performing on Regis and Kelly, Jimmy Kimmel, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

On October 16th, Ricky Martin was honored for his achievement as one of the most successful Latin singers in the music industry. Fellow old school rocker Mick Jagger with a score of 7-4, that is 7 kids with 4 women. Who knew comedy was sexy, Beverly Hills Cop Eddie Murphy has 7 kids with 3 women. To round off the top five players, Kevin Costner and Sean Puffy Hippie-Hop Diddy Combs both come in with 5 kids with 3 women, and not the same women.

US Weekly has an interesting article comparing classic Hollywood icons with contemporary celebrities. The article states that Katie Holmes channels Jackie Kennedy Onassis. The comparison of Jennifer Lopez as Liz Taylor seems a bit true since both have been been divorce about more times than they been married (is that even possible? I’m bad at math)… According to the article, Reese Withersppon embodies Grace Kelley. I might agree that Natalie Portman looks similar to Audrey Hepburn but I don’t see the comparison between Eva Mendes and Sophia Loren.
