Ricky Martin Suffers From Backsprain, Postpones Show

Ricky Martin was forced to postpone his show schedule for May 12 in Selma, Texas due to an injury that he sustained in Laredo, Texas on May 11th. Some fans report that they noticed Ricky did not do back flips in Laredo, as he did on the previous dates of the tour. Many speculate that Ricky aggravated a previous injury, and the pain became intolerable after concluding his show in Laredo. On May 12th, he visited with San Antonio Spurs team doctor Dr. Paul S. Saenz, it was determined that he should not perform in San Antonio.

Dear friends,
Unfortunately after suffering a back injury last night at my show in Laredo, I have been forced to postpone tonight’s concert in San Antonio. Due to medical orders, I have to take a mandatory rest in order to continue with the remaining cities. I want to thank all of my fans in San Antonio for their unconditional support and I hope to see you all very soon to bring you the best of me and my music.
