According to recent reports on TMZ, Paris Hilton’s cell mate has already been chosen. The only information known at this time is that the cell mate is another female who is serving time for wreckless driving. Officials took time to handpick an inmate that would not capitalize on the experience of being the cell mate of the hotel heiress.
Searches are being conducted of employees and inmates to assure the privacy of Paris during her stay. A memo has gone out to all staff members outlining strict rules and regulations during Paris’ stay. All cameras and cell phones are prohibited. Any staff member takes picture of Paris will be fired! After Ricky Martin’s recent lower back injury in Laredo, Tx, he will perform his remaining shows in 5/20 inMiami, FL and 5/21 in Orlando, FL. According to representatives close to the latin star, it remains to be seen if Ricky will be able to pull of an intense shows after suffering a lower back sprain, and a herniated disk, which is been a conditon that he’s been suffering for sometime now. This show is highly antipated, and his fans come all around the world to see Ricky in Miami since he calls Miami home with at least 2 homes that we know of.
After receiving treatments in San Antonio and El Paso from a lower back sprain that occured in Laredo, Ricky Martin has been advised by his doctor to avoid performing the next three shows. Shows scheduled in 5/14 in El Paso, TX, 5/15 in Glendale, AZ, and 5/16 in Rio Rancho, NM will be cancelled as well.
Ricky Martin was forced to postpone his show schedule for May 12 in Selma, Texas due to an injury that he sustained in Laredo, Texas on May 11th. Some fans report that they noticed Ricky did not do back flips in Laredo, as he did on the previous dates of the tour. Many speculate that Ricky aggravated a previous injury, and the pain became intolerable after concluding his show in Laredo. On May 12th, he visited with San Antonio Spurs team doctor Dr. Paul S. Saenz, it was determined that he should not perform in San Antonio.

Due to medical orders, I have to take a mandatory rest in order to continue with the remaining cities. Ricky is playing it by ear, this week his schedule is quite hectic. He is set to play May 14th in El Paso, TX, May 15th in Glendale, AZ and May 16 in Rio Rancho, NM, May 19th Miami, FL, and closing in Orlando on May 20th. So far there are no plans to postpone or cancel any additional dates.

Ty Pennington, America’s favorite contractor and host of the hit show Extreme Makeover- Home Edition was arrested Saturday at 12:35 a.m. in Los Angeles on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs while driving. Ty was released approximately two hours later after posting a $5000 bail. Ty later released a statement addressing the public regarding his lapse in judgment.
I made an error in judgment. We all make mistakes, however this is about accountability. Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving. I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone. This was my wake-up call. I also want to apologize to my fans, ABC Television and my design team for my lapse in judgment and the embarrassment I have caused.
