Michael Jackson is one person in the world who needs no introduction. He was arguably the best entertainers that ever lived. Michael was an extremely creative and talented singer and dancer. Michael was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana; Michael left this world on June 25, 2009. Michael’s early career began with his brothers Tito, Jackie, Jermain, and Marlon in The Jackson 5. Quickly, his talent and charisma outshined his brothers which lead to a successful solo career.

Michael Jackson exemplified true talent through his singing, dancing, and his innovative style. He will be forever remembered for singing songs to inspire change in the world. At Michael’s concerts, there was never a dry eye in the room because he inspired people in so many ways. Michael was a beautiful person and will be missed.
Michael has left the world with so many gifts–his music catalog, which will live on forever.

Farrah Fawcett lost her 3 year battle with cancer on June 26, 2009 at 62 years old. Farrah was born on February 2, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She will be forever remembered for her golden locks and her role and Jill Munroe in Charlies Angels. In 2005 Farrah starred in her own reality show about her day-to-day life called “Chasing Farrah“. Farrah’s career spanned from 1969 to 2009 her last project was “Farrah’s Story”, a documentary that chronicled her battle with cancer.

Our hearts go out to all Farrah’s family, friends, and fans. Especially to her biggest supporters Ryan O’Neal, Alana Stewart, and Redmond O’Neal (her son who was unable to be at her side when she passed away).

Ed McMahon was March 6, 1923 and he died from complications of bone cancer and pneumonia on June 23, 2009. He was famous for being a television personality, game show host, announcer, and comedian. Many of us remember him as the host of the talent show “Star Search” that gave many celebrities their “big break”. Ed is credited with the famous Johnny Carson introduction “Heeeeeeeeeeeeeere’s Johnny” on The Tonight Show. Ed truly brought excitement to The Tonight Show, and he made it the success it is today.

We are deeply saddened and send our condolences to Ed McMahon’s fans, family, and friends.

This week we are overwhelmed with the number of deaths in Hollywood. We are so sad that we have to put together tributes for 3 A-list celebrities- Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and “The King of Pop” Michael Jackson.

I am just going over the Celebrity 100 ranking in the June issue of Forbes. The Forbes power rank is based on income and fame, and like many other ranking such as People Most Beautiful list, is not based on scientific scrutiny or analysis but instead it a round table panel discussion amongst editors and staff at the magazine. Beatrice Arthur who was famous for her role as Dorothy Zbornak on “The Golden Girls” passed away on Saturday at the age of 86 after a long battle with cancer. If you recall earlier this year we lost Estelle Gettywho played her her tv mother “Sophia Petrillo”. Bea had a long and beautiful career in films, television, and theater.

Kim Kardashian would like to set the record straight and let everyone know that she’s a “Size 2, not a 2X”. This comment on Kim’s blog came after reports of her supporting Forever 21’s new plus size line, which Kim is supposedly a fan of. In Kim’s blog article she goes on to make sure that we all know she’s better than everyone else by telling us all how she works so hard to maintain her “perfectly curvy body”. Kim Kardashian certainly gets kudos for her style, but obviously she has insecurity issues if she feels better by bad mouthing any group of people. Beautiful people come in all shapes and sizes, and if she wants to be a good role model for women she should retract her statement!
